98 Bistro

98Bistro

98 Bistro needed more than a beautiful restaurant website. The core business goal was to give diners a smoother digital journey while reducing dependency on third-party platforms that take recurring fees.

We built an owned web system focused on fast menu discovery and direct reservation flow, helping the team keep more margin, control their customer journey, and operate with lower long-term monthly costs.

[02 — The Problem]

What needed attention

98 Bistro needed a Singapore restaurant website that made menu navigation and reservations easy while reducing reliance on third-party tools that increased monthly operating overhead.

  • Menu browsing needed to be clearer so users could evaluate options and intent quickly.
  • Reservations needed to happen directly to avoid recurring commission and platform fees.
  • The business wanted a solution it could own and maintain, instead of paying for overlapping third-party services.

[03 — Overview]

The context

The experience was structured around two high-impact actions: browse food quickly and reserve without friction. Navigation, section hierarchy, and content blocks were designed so diners can reach key decisions in fewer steps.

Instead of routing demand through costly intermediaries, we prioritized direct channels the business owns and maintains. This gives 98 Bistro better control over updates, customer touchpoints, and conversion optimization over time.

Beyond reservations, the system foundation was planned to reduce third-party service sprawl where possible, replacing stacked monthly subscriptions with a cheaper, maintainable setup tailored to how the restaurant actually operates.
